The Alliance for Reproductive Health Rights, Marie Stopes International Ghana, Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana, SEND Ghana organized a launch of a CSOs Health Manifesto today, 1st September, 2020 at the Crystal Palm Hotel, Tesano, Accra.
The CSOs Health Manifesto is a collective idea of CSOs working in health in Ghana and represents the perspectives and demands of these organizations who desire to see Ghana on a successful path to achieving Universal Health Coverage (UHC) by 2030. These CSOs envision a society where no one is left behind and secure healthcare for all.
The Health Manifesto will be used by CSOs to engage political parties at all levels of governance before the 2020 elections. It will equally be used to engage the winning political party and candidates after the elections to work towards improving healthcare for all.
Forty-two (42) participants from civil society organizations and the media were present for the launch of the health manifesto. Read the full manifesto here.
